Building a life-changing mantra
explmore is a community driven adventure lifestyle brand / mantra. It was founded on the original overland adventure story, and book, Strangers Like Angels - With a Devil or Two to Boot by Alec and Jan Forman (my parents).
The purpose of explmore is to promote a lifestyle of adventure through the belief that life with adventure ensures we have a greater understanding for each other and our precious planet — enabling progression.
A community platform to inspire, encourage, and curate life-changing adventure through the promotion of stories, events, and branded merchandise.

Process
This is my passion project. Following the publication of my parents' book, I saw an opportunity to create a new brand within the overland adventure travel space.
Many of the achievements made:
- Numerous feature articles written and podcasts joined over the years about my parents story and explmore, including most recently on CNN travel
- Over 2,500 copies of Strangers Like Angels sold or given as gifts to strangers
- At least 2,000 explmore decals (mostly stuck to overland rigs) sent out across the globe to places like Japan, South Africa, Essex, Iran, New Zealand, and even Pensacola, Pennsylvania
- About 10 different events attended ( in the US and UK) where I had a branded stand setup and experienced what many rely on for the success of their business
- Collaboration with some amazing artists, around the world, to bring to life overland travel through paintings, photos, illustration, video and animation.
- A publication webpage dedicated to sharing the inspiring stories of today’s explorers along with a recent podcast sharing the same name
- Podcast readings of my parents book (recorded over two years, every two weeks
- The many connections I have made either online via social media or in person related to a share interest in life-changing adventure
